If you’re keen on learning, growing, and reaching your goals with hands-on experience, expert support, coaching, and networking, this program is perfect for you. We provide a supportive environment, tools, and inspiring events. Just bring your motivation and commitment, and we’ll help you every step of the way.
Once you’ve signed up, join any activities you like. It’s NOT mandatory to attend all the events, but we recommend trying each weekly activity for the best experience.

Skills Mapping and Career Counseling: assess your strengths, identify areas for growth, and plan your path to success in Finland’s workforce. These sessions include workshops and group activities and are held at International House Turku Hub, Linnankatu 31.
Employment and Working Life in Finland: Welcome to the Job Center to discuss employment services, the rights and obligations of job seekers/workers, Finnish working life, hidden job markets, and other employment-related issues.

If you’re interested in studying, we’re here to help! Receive support and guidance from a professional study counselor to explore suitable education opportunities. Our experts will introduce you to Finland’s education system, answer your questions, and assist you in finding the best education path for your needs.
Come and develop your Finnish language skills with your peers in a chatty and relaxed environment! The participants will be divided into groups based on their language skills. Our language practise is also a great opportunity to meet like-minded people and make new friends.
We host various events and offer a space for networking, bringing internationals together. Here are some examples:
Piispisperjantai: Join us for an international coffee morning every Friday from 10:00 to 12:00 at Turku City Library. Stay updated on Turku’s latest news while enjoying coffee, pastries, and good company!

Explore Turku: go for a walk with our guides and other internationals. Discover Turku’s hidden spots or explore your city again!
Coaching is a personalized and goal-driven process. It’s a valuable tool used throughout the Welcome to Turku program to help participants reach their goals.
These sessions focus on each client’s unique needs, challenges, and goals. Book a session when you need support with life changes, career direction, or creating a fulfilling life in Finland.
