Thematic Workshop: Working Life
Date: Monday 20.11.
Time: 1.30 pm – 5 pm
Location: International House Turku Hub (Linnankatu 31)


1.30 pm – 2 pm Coffee/tea & networking
2 pm – 3 pm Workshop: Occupational design, identity shifting and career re-adjustment. You are not your certificates, but much more and your full professional potential is not limited to a title.
3.30 pm – 4.30 pm Feedback and support on CV and LinkedIn profiles
4.30 pm – 5 pm Networking

Puhutaan suomea – Let’s speak Finnish practice group
Date: Wednesday 22.11.
Time: 4.30 pm – 6 pm
Location: International House Turku Hub (Linnankatu 31)


Come practice your Finnish in a supportive and relaxed environment, together with peers, experts by experience and native speakers. The participants will be divided into groups based on the level of their Finnish language skills. The topic of the week is Finnish culture and language.

Career Focus Afternoon
Date: Friday 24.11.
Time: 12.30 pm – 4 pm

Afework for Entrepreneurs

We invite you to join our Afterwork for Entrepreneurs, an event dedicated to bringing entrepreneurs together. This event is presented by International House Turku in collaboration with KTI Laskutus, a Finnish company specializing in financial and digital services for Businesses.


Our event will start with warm welcome from Deeana Lehtinen, a Welcome to Turku programme coordinator. Following that, we’ll have a keynote speech by Samuel Archambault, a successful Canadian entrepreneur.


Whether you’re contemplating launching a business in Finland or already running one, this is your golden opportunity to engage in meaningful discussions, seel answers to your questions, and share your valuable experiences. It’s the perfect occasion to gain insights into the Finnish business landscape.
